China may soon join the International Organisation of Vine and Wine (Oiv) as a full member.
During the OivGeneral Assembly held in Spain during June 2023, Oiv members watched a video message from a Chinese official who reportedly said, “China looks forward to joining the Oiv as a full member as early as possible.”
During an Oiv-sponsored conference in Ningxia, Oiv Director General Pau Roca also reportedly said, “We now look forward to having China as a full member very soon, with all the rights and influence that the nation deserves.”
