The U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has proposed amending U.S. wine labelling regulations that would liberalize the use of distilled spirits statements on labels and advertisements of wines containing added distilled spirits. If adopted, nothing would require an importer or bottler to change an approved label. Comments on the proposed amendment must be received by 12 August 2022.
