Research from the University of Colorado Boulder published in Environmental Research Letters [is reportedly the first](https://urlsand.esvalabs.com/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fivs.org%3Fmailpoet_router%26endpoint%3Dtrack%26action%3Dclick%26data%3DWzExMiwiY2U5N2M4IiwiNjIwIiwiNTdmOTkyOGVmZmJkIixmYWxzZV0&e=f7fce861&h=90e1f356&f=n&p=y) to demonstrate that agricultural sulfur has a unique fingerprint that can be traced from application to endpoint, paving the way to protect waterways downstream from unintended impacts of anthropogenic sulfur application.
