A recent report commissioned by the Belgium Government introduced a list of recommendations to aid in the continued development of the country’s National Alcohol Action Plan. Among the recommendations were further restrictions on retail sales and legislative amendments that would allow vendors to ask customers appearing to be younger than 25 years old for age verifying identification. The report also recommended further research into the introduction of MUP for alcohol.
