Putin approves measures to develop viticulture and winemaking in Russia

President Putting has reportedly instructed the Russian government to implement a long-term program to develop domestic viticulture and winemaking.

Instructions include ensuring the availability of insurance against the risks of loss of the grape harvest or damage to the final product during processing; creating a scientific and educational center in the field of viticulture and winemaking; creating equal competitive conditions for all economic entities in the field; improving vineyard lands and increasing their fertility, and promoting domestic wine products on the domestic market.
