United States: TTB proposes changes to standards of fill for wine

The U.S. Department of Treasury’s Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) has proposed adding ten additional authorised standards of fill for wine, along with related technical and other harmonising changes.
The TTB is also considering eliminating all but a minimum standard of fill for wine containers.
Comments on Notice No. 210, Standards of Fill for Wine and Distilled Spirits, are due by 25 July 2022.
