As part of an omnibus appropriations and Covid-19 stimulus package voted end of 2020, the US House and Senate have made the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act permanent.

Thus, the lower wine excise tax rates originally enacted in 2017 are now permanent.

The procedures and requirements for the application of the tax reduction scheme remain unchanged. Relevant information can be found here.
