The New EU Farm to Fork Strategy

Written by Redazione

The New EU Farm to Fork Strategy: This approach will feature legislative measures and include targets for the reduction of risk and use of pesticides, Health Commissioner Stella Kyriakides confirmed these aims in front of the parliamentary committee on the Environment (ENVI) on Tuesday 18 February 2020. While the strategy was previously thought to be non-legislative in nature, Kyriakides observed that the relevant report to be released at the end of March would include legislative and non-legislative actions in order to improve what will be deemed to be realistic targets for pesticide.
