The U.S. Congress will Consider Efforts to Extend the Excise Tax Provisions: On 06 February 2019, The Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act was reintroduced in the U.S. Senate with strong support from a broad array of industry trade associations. This legislation addresses the fact that on 31 December 2019, the excise tax benefits for alcohol beverages, created by inclusion of the Craft Beverage Modernization and Tax Reform Act in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act are set to expire. This Act would extend these beneficial tax provisions .
